YES, HELL HAS FROZEN OVER...

I'm making a second post today. However, it's not going to be about the normal boring stuff.

I got to thinking about my life, and how good I feel I have it. I also got to thinking about how much I miss that special person being here with me. I was on the rooftop grilling a couple of burgers for dinner when I started looking around. It seems like I see the world a little different than some. When some people look around them, all they see is mortar, steel, and glass. I see beauty, love, and what will soon be. I thought I'd try to capture how I felt with some pictures. These were taken with my camera phone. I hope you enjoy them.

It is odd how the world is never how you first perceive it. I always thought of Memphis as being a "dirty" city, but it has it's own way of being beautiful and reminding us of the beautiful things in our lives.

Nice shots of the city...I've only been once but would love to go back. I really liked my visit.

Well come on down! You may want to skip the first part of May though. It's pretty crazy down here.

We have a big music festival, and it's been known to get slightly out of hand.

The year I was moving down here, I was looking at apartments the weekend of the festival. Adrianne wasn't too fond of me moving here because she thought every day was going to be like that. There were about 150,000 people downtown and everything was packed and crazy.

Luckily it's only like that for about 10 days a year.
